Paul Barnett
President & Co-Founder

Paul Barnett is President and Co-Founder of iShow, where he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan. He oversees iShow relationships with media partners and major national clients and guides the long term roll-out of the companies Internet broadcasting model.

Previously Paul was a division manager of Sumitomo, headquartered in Japan and one of the world’s largest global corporations and he spent several years in senior marketing management with international manufacturers and distributors located in the US and Canada. In 1994, Paul was introduced to the World Wide Web and saw its potential to revolutionize the marketing-communications and infotainment industries. He realized that the slow speed access to the Internet that was common in the 90’s, was a temporary factor and once broadband was deployed, a whole new communications industry of “what you want, when you want it” would be born. He founded both National Video Profiles and the Internet Power Company to apply the Internet as broadcasting medium for a diversified client base. Many of those same clients continue to be at the core of iShow’s continued success.

He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Business Computer Science and Managerial Finance, from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He has a 20 plus years of professional experience working in the high-tech industry, including some ten years in senior management positions.

As a co-founder and Vice President of Production Services for iShow, Steve was one of the early visionaries who understood the full implications of the digital revolution on marketing and communications. He began to offer comprehensive web based rich media solutions to his clients beginning in 1994-95 and has a vast legacy of providing interactive streaming solutions for iShow’s clients. Steve led the introduction of streaming media to such organizations as InfoComm and he continues to lead iShow’s production services as it breaks new ground in the Internet broadcast revolution.
